Terms of Service

Welcome to FC Stars United LLC (“FC Stars United,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern participation in our soccer training programs, camps, clinics, leagues, private training sessions, events, and use of our website and services.

By registering a child for any FC Stars United program, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

FC Stars United provides supplemental soccer training and recreational programs for children and youth ages 9 through 18. A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and accept these Terms on behalf of any minor participant.

2. Program Participation

Participants are expected to:

• Follow all instructions from coaches and staff
• Demonstrate respectful behavior toward players, coaches, referees, parents, and facilities
• Use appropriate sportsmanship at all times
• Wear appropriate athletic attire and equipment

FC Stars United reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant for unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate conduct without refund.

3. Registration and Payment

• Registration is not complete until payment is received.
• Fees must be paid according to the program payment schedule.
• Prices, schedules, and program availability may change without notice.
• Returned payments or failed transactions may be subject to additional fees.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Missed sessions due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, vacations, or other reasons are not eligible for refunds or credits.
• FC Stars United reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to weather, facility issues, low enrollment, or unforeseen circumstances.
• If FC Stars United cancels a program entirely, a refund or account credit may be issued at our discretion.

5. Assumption of Risk

Participation in sports and athletic activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury
• Falls and collisions
• Sprains, fractures, or other medical conditions

By participating, parents/guardians acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in FC Stars United activities.

6. Medical Authorization

Parents/guardians certify that the participant is physically able to participate in athletic activities. In the event of an emergency, FC Stars United may seek emergency medical treatment for the participant if a parent/guardian cannot be reached immediately.

Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate emergency contact and medical information.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FC Stars United LLC, its owners, coaches, staff, contractors, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense arising from participation in any program, event, or activity.

8. Photo and Media Release

Unless a parent/guardian submits a written opt-out request, FC Stars United may use photographs, videos, or recordings of participants for:

• Social media
• Advertising
• Promotional materials
• Website content
• Marketing purposes

No compensation will be provided for such use.

9. Privacy

FC Stars United collects and maintains personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Information collected may include participant names, parent contact information, emergency contacts, medical information, and payment details.

10. Website and Online Services

Users agree not to:

• Misuse the website or services
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• Upload malicious content or software
• Use content without permission

All website content, logos, branding, training materials, and media are the property of FC Stars United LLC.

11. Scheduling and Facility Changes

Training locations, coaches, schedules, and program formats may change due to weather, facility availability, tournaments, staffing, or operational needs.

12. Independent Contractors

Coaches, trainers, and instructors may serve as employees or independent contractors of FC Stars United LLC.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Changes to Terms

FC Stars United reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website or registration platform.
